Registration and Fees
At Mirrabooka, we make a huge effort to make our activities and camps affordable. Everything is run on a non-profit basis, and MirrabookaStudy Centre itself is a charitable organisation, and a registered Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR). However, there are still many expenses associated with running such an organisation, and these expenses are subsidised by a family term fee.
Mirrabooka fees covers cots such as electricity, petrol and sporting equipment. Payment of the term fee allows participation in the all the activities, except the camps. (As places on camps are usually limited preference will be given to those who have paid the term fee.)
The term fee $50 per term for each student but $100 for every family with two or more children attending the centre. This fee applies to students in Year 7 to Year 12.
These fees are payable at the beginning of each term
Payment can be made by cheque, cash, or electronic transfer. For more our bank details, please contact us.
Finally, in line with standard practice and legislation, parents must complete a parental consent form and a medical information form for each child under the age of 18 that attends the centre and participate in its activities. All projects of Education Development Association (EDA) including Mirrabooka uses CareMonkey, an automation secured platform for online forms, medical records and field trip management for schools & other groups. Activities and camps of the centre are often notified by CareMonkey. To be part of Mirrabooka’s CareMonkey profile, please complete the form below. If you are new to the activities of Mirraboka, we may need to contact you and request for a meeting to thoroughly explain our activities, motives and structure.
Mirrabooka offers internet access to senior high school (Year 11 and 12) and tertiary students for a small fee per term. An IT agreement must be signed and be found here
