Video of 2018 Vietnam Workcamp
Workcamps or Service Projects have a threefold aim: to provide welfare or developmental assistance to a community in need, contribution towards a team based project, and learning about a different cultural heritage. These Workcamps are organised and run by Centres of EDA (Education Development Association), in conjunction with Reledev Australia Limited – a not-for-profit NGA, accredited with AusAID.
In January 2019, a group of young men will travel to Luganville on the island of Espiritu Santo in Vanuatu. The main project will be the refurbishment and painting of Saint-Michel School, the local Primary. There will be scheduled time to go around and explore different sites and experiences that Vanuatu has to offer. There will also be opportunities to attend spiritual activities such as daily Mass and prayer. The chaplain of the trip will be a priest of the Prelature of Opus Dei.
